Sixers in final after Super Over thriller

Henriques' Super Over heroics send the Sixers through to the Big Final

The match in a tweet: SIXERS WIN! It took a Super Over to separate them but Henriques' heroics proved too much for McCullum and the Heat in the #BBLSemis

The scorecard: Brisbane Heat 9-167 (McCullum 46, Lyon 4-23) tied with Sydney Sixers 8-167 (Henriques 64, Steketee 2-21)

The Super Over: Sydney Sixers 0-22 (Henriques 18no) defeated Brisbane Heat 0-15 (McCullum 13no) by seven runs

Two sixes and a four from Moises Henriques, plus a Ben Cutting no ball, helped the Sixers score an imposing 0-22 from their Super Over. You couldn't ask for many better batsmen than Brendon McCullum in this situation, but he just couldn't do enough to see the Heat through as Sean Abbott kept his cool in a pressure-filled situation.

Henriques amazing Super Over sparks Sixers win

The (two) knocks: Before his Super Over heroics, when he blasted 18 off five balls, Sixers skipper Henriques led the his team's chase with his 34-ball 64. Coming to the crease after Nic Maddinson departed in the first over and international Colin Munro fell after a speedy 23 off 11, Henriques never looked under pressure as he plundered five boundaries and three sixes before being very well caught by Joe Burns in the 17th over with his team still requiring 26 runs from 22 balls.

The final (normal) over: Well, a LOT happened. Ben Cutting the bowler, Johan Botha on strike... it's easier just to watch how that played out!
