Mr Cricket Monday: Huss just misses Big Bash century

Fans saw a different side to Michael Hussey’s cricket when he took to the field with the Sydney Thunder from BBL|03 to BBL|05.

On this occasion in 2014, Hussey opened the batting, and remained in the middle as he scored 96 in an impressive 160-run partnership with South African Jacques Kallis.

Travis Head Tuesday: Fireworks come early with NYE century

A packed house at the Adelaide Oval were in for a New Years treat as the Strikers met the Sydney Sixers on December 31, 2015.

The home side needed 110 to win when Travis Head came in at number four. Rather than take a balanced approach, the young South Australian took control and belted 101 from just 53 ball.

Cam White Wednesday: White blasts big score in BBL|02 semi-final

With a spot in the BBL|02 final on the line, Cameron White led his Melbourne Stars from the front with a 53-ball innings of 88.

The entertaining knock was struck in vain however, as the Scorchers recorded a memorable final-ball victory in the rain-affected Semi Final at the WACA.

Also note a wicket-keeping cameo from Mike Hussey for the Scorchers, as highlighted in the image below!
