Strikers fined for slow over rate
The Adelaide Strikers WBBL squad has been penalised for a slow over rate in their Rebel Women’s Big Bash League match against the Hobart Hurricanes at Karen Rolton Oval on Tuesday 8 January 2018.
The Strikers were found to be 5 minutes behind the scheduled time to complete their 20 overs, after allowances, equating to one over short.
In accordance with the WBBL Playing Conditions, the Adelaide Strikers have received an official warning, while captain Suzie Bates has received one strike.
The Strikers accepted this without appeal.
Two more strikes for Bates for slow over rates would see her miss one match
