Sydney Thunder have ended the year on top of the WBBL standings following a one-sided eight-wicket win over Hobart Hurricanes in Launceston on Sunday.
The 2016 champions made it five wins from six outings as the winless Hurricanes crumbled for 97 after winning the toss and electing to bat.
The Thunder cruised to victory with five overs to spare by scoring 2-99.
The home side built a solid platform through opener Stefanie Daffara who top-scored with 30, but after reaching 2-49 they lost their final eight wickets for just 48 runs to get bowled out in 19.4 overs.
Thunder fast bowler Samantha Bates was named player of the match with figures of 3-12.
The Thunder's West Indian allrounder Stafanie Taylor chipped in with 2-13, adding to her three-wicket haul in a seven-wicket win against the same opponent on Saturday.
The Thunder lost in-form openers Rachael Haynes and Taylor early, but were untroubled in reaching the victory target as Alex Blackwell and Harmanpreet Kaur posted an unbeaten 65 for the third wicket.
